Michael is an associate specialising in commercial dispute resolution. He is particularly experienced in acting on financial services disputes, breach of fiduciary duty claims and claims relating to contractual interpretation. He is dedicated to developing creative and commercial solutions to clients’ most complex legal problems.

Michael has acted for clients drawn from a range of different sectors, including commercial real estate, engineering and construction and financial services. He has considerable experience of acting in High Court litigation and in various forms of ADR. He is comfortable working on cross-border matters, including those with an offshore element. He has a particular interest in commercial fraud and matters related to the enforcement of judgments, and is actively involved in pro bono initiatives.

Background

Michael trained at Clifford Chance, where he qualified as a solicitor in 2013. He joined Cooke, Young & Keidan in 2015. He is a graduate of the College of Law and Oxford University.
