CYK success for its client acting against RBS

14 January 2019: CYK had recent success for its client GPP whilst acting against RBS in a dispute arising out of the now notorious lending practices of RBS in the run-up to the global financial crisis of 2008. RBS had sought to strike out parts of GPP’s Particulars of Claim, which detail alleged fraudulent conduct by RBS.  The Court refused to strike out the allegations, and they can now be considered in full at trial.
