Tami joined Cooke, Young and Keidan in September 2026. She acts on a broad range of complex domestic and international commercial disputes, including civil fraud and asset recovery, directors’ duties and shareholder disputes, contentious insolvency and contractual claims.

Tami has a growing specialism in fraud-related disputes and corporate misconduct. She has acted in matters involving breaches of fiduciary duty, falsified financial records, related-party transactions, misappropriation of company assets and unfair prejudice allegations. She also has experience obtaining urgent interim relief, including freezing injunctions, and working with forensic experts on tracing and recovery exercises.

Her contentious insolvency experience includes claims against directors for wrongful and fraudulent trading, breaches of duty, and transactions at an undervalue. Her wider experience includes professional negligence and substantial contractual disputes involving breaches of contract and wrongful termination. Tami also has experience in cross-border litigation, including proceedings to obtain oral and documentary evidence from England for use in US litigation.

Background

Tami qualified as a Solicitor of England and Wales in 2022.

Tami graduated from the University of Bristol with First Class Honours in Politics and Sociology before completing a Master of Laws and the Legal Practice Course at the University of Law, achieving Distinctions in both.

Prior to joining Cooke, Young & Keidan, Tami was an associate at Collyer Bristow LLP.
