Jennifer joined Cooke, Young & Keidan as an Associate in January 2016.


Before joining CYK, Jennifer was an Associate in the Commercial Litigation Department at a leading US firm Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher (‘GDC’) in London having previously completed her legal training at Irish Law firm Eugene F. Collins. During her training contract Jennifer focused on commercial litigation, completing a double seat with the department and gaining wide-ranging experience in High Court commercial claims. She also completed a seat in contentious insolvency where she acted on behalf of insolvency practitioners, creditors and company directors, which has given her insolvency based litigation training.

Jennifer has been involved in many high-value commercial litigation actions. These include, in particular a complex, high-profile multi-jurisdictional benchmarking manipulation investigation that has given Jennifer a depth of knowledge in financial markets disputes and regulation.


• Conducting large-scale multi-jurisdictional investigation in relation to benchmarking manipulation involving consultation with Regulatory Bodies and responses to their queries.
• Involvement in many high-value commercial litigation cases on behalf of claimants and defendants in both the UK and Republic of Ireland, which have involved advising on commercial disputes and loan facility enforcement actions.

Jennifer studied English and German at undergraduate level at University College, Dublin, where she also undertook a year abroad study in Germany, before completing a Post Graduate Diploma in Law. She was awarded a Master of Laws Degree from Trinity College, Dublin in 2010 and completed her Legal Practice courses at the Law Society of Ireland in 2011 and 2012 and qualified as a solicitor in 2013. She is admitted to the Roll of Solicitors in both the Republic of Ireland and England and Wales.


Jennifer is a member of the Law Society of England and Wales and the Law Society of Ireland.
