Sam Macintosh

Sam joined Cooke, Young and Keidan in September 2024. Sam has experience advising on a wide range of commercial, contractual, and equity disputes, with a particular emphasis on professional liability, regulatory, and tortious matters.

Prior to joing to Cooke, Young and Keidan, Sam was an associate with Wynn Williams, a leading full-service law firm in New Zealand. In that role, Sam acted for clients before the District Court, High Court and Court of Appeal of New Zealand, and in various tribunals and mediations, including appearing as sole and junior counsel.

Background

Sam is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand. He graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Law, and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations and Mandarin).
