Sam has particular expertise in contract law and international and domestic commercial litigation

Background

Sam joined Cooke, Young & Keidan as a paralegal in September 2023. He graduated from Cambridge with a BA (Hons) in History in 2022, before completing an MA in Law and Legal Practice with BPP University.

Sam has assisted partners and associates with matters spanning a variety of areas of contract, trusts and company law, as well as banking and financial regulations. He wrote his postgraduate thesis on ‘A mirror crack’d from side to side? Good faith in English contract after Re Compound Photonics,’ graded with distinction. He has also worked on LCIA and ICC arbitrations, including under the UNCITRAL rules.
