Behind closed doors: the limits of confidentiality in arbitration

28 July 2025:  CYK Partner Mikhail Vishnyakov and associate Anna-Rose Davies write for Solicitors Journal sharing their thoughts on the recent decision in A Corporation v Firm B [2025] EWHC 1092 (Comm) which discusses the boundaries of arbitral confidentiality under English law. The judgment also outlines circumstances where disclosure may be justified, such as protecting a party’s legitimate interests or pursuing similar fact evidence in related proceedings.
