Anna-Rose joined Cooke, Young & Keidan in September 2022.  Anna-Rose has acted on complex, cross-border commercial disputes, including high-value claims in the Commercial Court, Circuit Commercial Court, and the Chancery Division.  Anna-Rose has experience acting for clients in the course of issuing and defending claims, summary judgment/strike-out applications, and jurisdiction challenges.  Anna-Rose also has experience acting in international arbitration under the rules of the LCIA.  

 

Before joining Cooke, Young & Keidan, Anna-Rose was a senior solicitor at Meredith Connell, New Zealand’s largest litigation firm.  She acted for professional and regulatory bodies to carry out prosecutions and other regulatory proceedings before tribunals, the District Court, the High Court, and the Court of Appeal.  In addition, Anna-Rose was a Crown prosecutor and represented the Crown as counsel in a range of criminal hearings up to and including jury and judge alone trials.

Anna-Rose is admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand.

Anna-Rose graduated from Victoria University of Wellington with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in Economics and English Literature.
