CYK Senior associate recently spoke at the  Legal Week Trusts and Estates Litigation Forum

19 March 2019: Senior associate Sam Roberts recently spoke at the  Legal Week Trusts and Estates Litigation Forum in Girona, Spain on ‘Game Theory and Psychology in Trust Litigation’, alongside Jessica Henson, a senior associate at BCLP.  Their talk covered

• The application of behavioural economics principles to litigation
• Avoiding misleading and impressionistic information to assess prospects in a more logical and mathematically sound manner
• Exploiting and avoiding loss aversion in settlement
• Exploring fairness as a limit to the predictive powers of game theory
