Hazel joined Cooke, Young & Keidan in July 2023. Before joining Cooke, Young & Keidan, Hazel was an associate at King & Wood Mallesons in Hong Kong, where she trained and practiced for over 4 years. Hazel’s practice focuses on international arbitration and commercial litigation, and she also has experience in insolvency and contentious regulatory matters. Hazel has acted for public authorities, financial institutions, multinational corporations, officers of listed companies and private clients on various matters, including contractual disputes, joint venture disputes, debt recovery, enforcement actions, insolvency disputes and regulatory investigations.

Hazel has acted in HKIAC and ICC arbitrations, High Court, Court of Final Appeal matters, and Market Miscount Tribunal matters in Hong Kong. She has also worked on a number of pro bono cases in relation to non-refoulement claims.

Hazel is admitted as a Solicitor in England & Wales and Hong Kong.

Hazel is an accredited HKIAC Tribunal Secretary.

Hazel graduated from the University of Hong Kong with a Bachelor of Law and a Postgraduate Certificate in Law. As part of her LLB degree, Hazel spent half a year at the University of Zürich where she studied international law.
