CYK recognised across Chambers UK 2027 and Legal 500 rankings

16 October 2026: Cooke, Young & Keidan has once again secured strong rankings in both the latest Chambers & Partners UK 2027 and Legal 500 guides, underscoring the firm’s position as one of the UK’s leading specialist conflict free disputes practices.

Across the two directories, CYK continues to be recognised for its expertise in Civil Fraud, Premium Commercial Litigation, International Arbitration, Banking Litigation, Financial Services (Contentious) and Commodities, as well as for being a specialist dispute resolution firm. The guides commented that CYK’s “nimble and dynamic team” of “very sophisticated litigators” “boxes above its weight, handling high quality work with a down-to-earth approach”, and is described as “sharp and reactive”, “hardworking with a great breadth of experience”, “technically strong” , and “commercial, agile and very user-friendly”.

The rankings also highlight the strength and depth of CYK’s lawyers, with multiple partners receiving individual recognition and several achieving improved rankings. Notably, Jon Felce (for Civil Fraud) and Stephen Elam (for Banking Litigation) both moved up to Band 3 in Chambers, while Mikhail Vishnyakov was recognised for the first time as an Up & Coming practitioner for both Commodities and Sanctions. Many of our excellent associates were also recognised for their valuable contributions to the team.

Amongst the praise the team received included:

  1. Sinead O’Callaghan: “brilliant; really smart, capable, energetic and full of ideas – an excellent lawyer all around”.
  2. Lydia Danon: ““sharp, tenacious, and highly effective lawyer who combines strong legal expertise with a pragmatic and client-focused approach.”
  3. Sam Roberts: “an intellectual heavyweight, he comes up with angles nobody has thought of.”
  4. Jon Felce: “ He is a phenomenal lawyer and he has a tremendous ability to keep on top of new developments, particularly in asset tracing.”
  5. Natalie Todd: “her work straddles all areas; nothing fazes her. She has delivered with aplomb. She is a good lawyer and tactician, with tactical nous and shrewdness and deep knowledge across banking, civil fraud and asset tracing”.
  6. Mikhail Vishnyakov: “a highly commercially minded lawyer who quickly gets to the heart of the matter and offers practical solutions.”
  7. Rosie Wild: “absolutely outstanding, she is a great lawyer, a really intuitive litigator and she’s indefatigable.”
  8. Elizabeth Meade: “combines a formidable intellect with common sense, always with a strategic eye to the outcome.”

Feedback from clients and peers highlights CYK’s combination of technical excellence, strategic insight and commercial pragmatism, together with its commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
